David Russell Adkins, 51, of Glenwood, W.Va., went home to be with the Lord on Monday, October 13, 2008. Funeral services were conducted Thursday, October 16, 2008, at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, with Tom Hantak officiating. Burial in Morrison Cemetery.
He was born April 13, 1957 in Huntington, W.Va. He was an active member of BOTW for thirteen years.
He is survived by his wife, Tomie Frost Adkins; one son, David Russell Adkins of Glenwood; two daughters, Harley Glenna Jo Adkins of Glenwood, W.Va., and Brooke Cremeans of Huntington; his father and mother, Russell Henry Adkins and Emaline Ferguson Adkins of Lavalette, W.Va.; one sister, Patty Pauley and her husband Harold of Lavalette, W.Va.; one brother, Tom Adkins and his wife Gwen of Waterloo, Ohio; sister-in-law, Willa Frost; nieces and nephews, Rusty Pauley, Melissa Pauley, Jennifer Pauley, T.J. Adkins, Jamie Renee Saxton, Maggie Frost, Robert and Jeremy Saxton.
Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville, was in charge of arrangements.
