Donna Jean Craddock of Hurricane
Donna Jean Craddock of Hurricane expired peacefully in Thomas Memorial Hospital Monday morning, October 13, 2008, following complications with pancreatic cancer. Donna was a member of the Main Street Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dell and Alma Clark Craddock; her brothers, Sam and Dan Craddock; and her son, Gregory.
Donna is survived by her very special aunt, Mala Fizer of Culloden; her sister and brother-in-law, Irene and Denzil Thomasson; nieces and nephews, Sam Craddock, Jeffrey Thomasson, Denise, Mary, Stephen Craddock of Hurricane, and Sandra Rawls and David Craddock of Virginia Beach.
Jean will be greatly missed by a great-niece, Madison. They did many fun things together. Much appreciation is extended to special friends, Melissa Peyton, Edie Facemyer and Linda Holleron, who were such a comfort to Jean.
Donna was employed by RCL Burco, which became more than just a workplace but like a second family. John Talerico and co-workers were such a source of strength for her during her work association with Burco. Jean loved her job and the people there were so wonderful to her.
Services were held Thursday, October 16, 2008, at Chapman Funeral Home, Hurricane, with Minister Doug Minton officiating. Private burial in Valley View Memorial Park, Hurricane.
